Rising Swell

Hola hola! We had some rising swell at the reef break today. The long period swell started to show up and there were fun waves to be had. Our guest James is on day 10 of his epic surf adventure at the lodge and he is not letting up. He is an animal logging a solid 5 hours a day of surfing. We are stoking on the surf forecast and hoping to score some mini bombas this weekend. Stay psyched everyone! Check out the gallery below...

The line up was crowded...with pelicans right when we showed up.
A small crowd of surfers came out to enjoy the sunset surf session this afternoon.
A couple of guys were on their shortboards ripping the inside sections of the reef.
It was shifty and tricky out there today, but when you lined up on one nicely you got an epic ride.
The lines were long and there was lots of opportunities to do floaters. This ripper nailed it.
It was just a bit windy this afternoon, but very normal for this time of year.
The reef break offers so many different looks it is ridiculous. Hard to imagine no one used to surf here back in the day.
Our guest James has been scoring everyday of his two week surf adventure. Super stoked!
