Hola hola!  This is your daily Nicaragua surf update brought to you by the original Nicaragua surf lodge.  Happy Valentines day my friends!  It was a great day to pay homage to our true love, the ocean.  In southern Nicaragua we were blessed with fun waves, offshore winds, and a small crowd at the reef break.  I hope everyone got to go surfing today!  Check out the gallery below...

There were plenty of fun waves to carve on the frontside.
This reef break is perfect to work on your wrap turns.
It is also a good spot to work on your top turns.
A few nuggets stacked up.
Don't forget to get your roundhouse cutbacks dialed in also.
When you sit deep looking for the bombs at this spot, you normally have to dodge some traffic. Here is our local, Roger, demonstrating this technique perfectly.
Roger laid down a solid carve after negotiating the traffic.
