Yeewww!  I made it down to the performance beach break and witnessed a local shred session in mid-February.  It is starting to get super windy, but there are still plenty of offseason nugs to enjoy.  The 2 feet of swell was groomed very nicely with the hard blowing offshore winds.  Check out the gallery below...

Only the locals and get away with this maneuver. It is fun to watch all these friends share waves all while hooting and hollering. If you have surfed the performance beach break, you know exactly what I am talking about. Respect the locals and don't drop in on them.
I love the left on the other side of 2nd peak. Fun waves up for grabs. Get down here and get some.

This was one of the only pale riders out there. He was getting steezy on the drops.

I am still trying to figure out this lighting about 2 hours before sunset. Some shots are great, while others are not so great.
