Rainy Onshore Waves

Hola hola!  We have rainy onshore waves in southern Nicaragua today.  It is Mother's Day in Nicaragua and my kids made their mom an amazing breakfast, so I was a little late to check the surf.  There might have been a few surfers at dawn patrol, but by the time I made it to the beach there was not a surfer in sight and the onshore flow was strong.  It appears we will have a few more days of onshore flow and then hopefully we will get blessed with some dreamers.  Check out the gallery below...

Maybe this wave was rideable? There are no takers because we have so many great days of surf here. Now if I was in Florida...I would be surfing.
The view looking north from atop the hill looks amazing. What a special place we live.
It is raining and the hills are green. I love this time of year in Nicaragua.
Not so perfect surf, but some much needed rain. You can't win it all...all the time.
I love it when the waves meet the rocks. Boom!
It is still a beautiful view even though we have onshore winds, rain and cloudy skies.
You could go surf this if you were really frothing. Not to many frothers in our area because we have had so many amazing days of waves the entire month of May.
It was a beautiful view from atop the hill despite the onshore waves.
