Fun Sized Waves

Hello everyone!  Thanks for checking back to your favorite daily Nicaragua surf report.  The swell has continued to drop, now providing fun sized waves at the performance beach break.  All the local groms were out absolutely ripping the 2 to 3 foot waves.  The forecast is calling for another swell in a few days so stay tuned for all the big wave action.   Check out the gallery below...

Byron was out there today commanding first peak and ripping.
Darwin has some extra time on his hands since he is waiting for the tourists to return to give surf lessons. I would say that he is using his extra free time wisely.
Lesther asks me everyday if I got any pictures of him. I normally do get a few and I always send them his way. I am impressed with how much he is improving his style and surfing. Watch out for this kid in the future.
The waves were so fun today. Super playful and perfect for cutbacks.
Here is Byron navigating a barrel that only he could. An amazing return guest gave him the name "surf ball" and this is a perfect example of how he got the name. And, yes, me made it.
Nesmer has a solid backside surfing attack. You can tell he surfs contests because he does at least 5 turns every wave and is just so consistent.
The grommet really wanted to surf today on her morning break from school. She didn't feel comfortable enough to paddle out past the breakers, so she just grabbed some whitewater. Look at that smile though, she loves surfing.
Oscar is another stand out ripper from the performance beach break. He is so close to landing these 360 airs consistently.
