Hey everyone!  It was a full on barrel fest in southern Nicaragua at the performance beach break today.  The waves were going off and all the local guys were charging.  It was just barrel after barrel for the 30 minutes I took pictures.  After that I ran back to my truck, grabbed my board and paddled out to see if I could catch a few.  It was an amazing day of surfing and these local rippers make it look too easy.  Check out the gallery below...

Byron was out today packing some solid barrels.
It was a barrel fest and Saddy got his fair share of barrels, but he also found an opportunity to throw down a solid turn.
Guess who? If you guessed Yuber you are correct. He was picking off all of the dredging barrels on the north end of the beach.
Nesmer threaded this barrel perfectly and came flying out then laid down a solid layback.
Here is the sequence in case you were interested to see it. Nesmer surfs so good it is ridiculous.
The locals were putting on a show with no tourist in the area. Mario was charging as usual and super calm as he slid into this dreamer.
Good surfing ability runs in the family. Byron's brother was getting super tubed at first peak too.
I must have seen Yuber pull into 50 barrels today. Here he is stomping the late, critical drop.
Then the stylish, calm and perfectly timed bottom turn.
And the last shot of Yuber threading the barrel perfectly. This guy shreds the gnar.
