Rain and Flooding

Hello everyone!  We have more rain and flooding to report in southern Nicaragua.  It rained and rained all day long and the water levels kept rising in our zone.  The rivers flooded and the run offs swelled with water making it impassable to the north and south of my house.  It was not a good day to be out on the roads.  Hopefully the sun will shine again soon.  We have had enough rain.  Check out the gallery below..

Lots of rain equals lots of flooding. It was not a good day to be out on the roads.
I was blocked to the north and the south. It was a stay at home day.
The run offs were flowing making roads difficult to pass.
Some local homes are in a worse spot than others. Luckily the water didn't rise any more than this.
This is the first of two rivers heading north. Neither river was passable by a vehicle.
The foot bridge is still good to go for pedestrians or motos.
It was raining all day and this was the only picture of the ocean I could get.
